{"id":23648,"date":"2020-04-18T16:00:39","date_gmt":"2020-04-18T14:00:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/infosphere\/covid-19-le-iniziative-dellispettoria-argentina-aba\/"},"modified":"2020-04-19T10:11:07","modified_gmt":"2020-04-19T08:11:07","slug":"covid-19-the-initiatives-of-the-argentine-province-aba","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/en\/infosphere\/covid-19-the-initiatives-of-the-argentine-province-aba\/","title":{"rendered":"Covid-19: the initiatives of the Argentine Province ABA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Buenos Aires (Argentina)<\/strong> There are numerous solidarity initiatives organized by the Communities of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians of the Argentine Province of St. Francis de Sales (ABA) to deal with the Coronavirus emergency.<\/p>\n<p>At <strong>R\u00edo Grande<\/strong>, Terra del Fuoco, the FMA of Mary Help of Christians Community, networking with the Salesians of Don Bosco and collaborators, distribute bags of dry food and vegetables to those who regularly attend the FMA \u2018table\u2019 and to the families who need it most.<\/p>\n<p><em>Mary Help of Christians Community<\/em> of <strong>Avellaneda &#8211; Buenos Aires<\/strong>, knit wool squares to combine them into blankets to help those who have no protection against the cold to survive the approaching winter.<\/p>\n<p>The FMA of <strong>Ciudad Evita \u2013 Buenos Aires<\/strong>, in collaboration with the parish, neighbors, and the Argentine Army, daily cook meals for 300 people to be delivered in the Centro Barrial Santa Clara.<\/p>\n<p>Students and past pupils of the Professional Courses of <strong>Mar del Plata<\/strong> (Buenos Aires) and the FMA of <strong>Puerto Deseado<\/strong> (Santa Cruz) collaborated in the creation of gowns and masks for the hospital of the Region and for the city Police.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>St. Mary Mazzarello Community<\/strong> of <strong>San Justo<\/strong> hosts in the school gym, 75 officers from the Buenos Aires Police who carry out their work in the area. The FMA provided them with equipment, changing rooms, kitchen, and everything necessary for their stay. They also purchased food to collaborate with the Calles Solidarity Association and the Ciudad Evita Community, which distribute food to the neediest families.<\/p>\n<p>The volunteers of <em>Mary Help of Christians House<\/em> \u00a0in <strong>La Boca<\/strong> network with the other Salesian houses and institutions in the neighborhood.
