{"id":15599,"date":"2019-12-09T15:37:21","date_gmt":"2019-12-09T14:37:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/infosphere\/iima-e-la-giornata-mondiale-dei-diritti-umani\/"},"modified":"2019-12-21T15:58:35","modified_gmt":"2019-12-21T14:58:35","slug":"iima-and-the-world-day-of-human-rights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/en\/infosphere\/human-rights\/iima-and-the-world-day-of-human-rights\/","title":{"rendered":"IIMA and the World Day of Human Rights"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ginevra (Svizzera).<\/strong> Fin dal 1950, la data \u00e8 stata decisa per ricordare la proclamazione da parte dell\u2019Assemblea Generale delle Nazioni Unite della Dichiarazione Universale dei Diritti Umani, adottata nel 1948.<\/p>\n<p>La risoluzione 423 (V) dell\u2019Assemblea Generale delle Nazioni Unite del 1950 invitava tutti gli Stati e tutte le organizzazioni interessate a celebrare la giornata dei diritti umani nella maniera ritenuta da loro pi\u00f9 opportuna. L\u2019Istituto Internazionale Maria Ausiliatrice (IIMA) si impegna a promuovere e difendere i diritti umani, rendendoli una realt\u00e0 per tutti.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IIMA, <\/strong>\u00e8 l\u2019organizzazione non governativa delle Figlie di Maria Ausiliatrice volta a promuovere il diritto all\u2019educazione e l\u2019educazione ai diritti umani. A questo fine, nel 2008, ha ottenuto lo Statuto Consultivo Speciale con il Consiglio Economico e Sociale delle Nazioni Unite. La visione di IIMA \u00e8 che l\u2019educazione sia un diritto per tutti e lo strumento per implementare gli altri diritti.<\/p>\n<p>Il <strong>VIDES Internazionale<\/strong>, grazie al protagonismo dei giovani nei progetti di volontariato volti a promuovere diritti umani e solidariet\u00e0, costituisce un partner importante per IIMA. L\u2019Ufficio dei Diritti Umani, a Ginevra, ha il compito di rappresentare IIMA e VIDES alle Nazioni Unite, dando visibilit\u00e0 all\u2019esperienza e alle buone prassi realizzate dalle FMA e dai giovani volontari in tutto il mondo.<\/p>\n<p>Le attivit\u00e0 dell\u2019Ufficio dei Diritti Umani (IIMA) e del VIDES sono riconducibili a <strong>tre pilastri di azione: <em>advocacy, formazion<\/em>e e <em>capacity building,<\/em> e<em> comunicazione<\/em><\/strong>. Attraverso questi pilastri d\u2019azione, l\u2019Ufficio lavora in sinergia con le Organizzazioni Non Governative (ONG) e con altre Istituzioni.<\/p>\n<p>Tramite l\u2019attivit\u00e0 di <strong>Advocacy<\/strong> l\u2019Ufficio fornisce agli esperti delle Nazioni Unite e ai rappresentanti degli Stati Membri informazioni pertinenti e affidabili su come i diritti umani sono implementati a livello locale, incluso le denunce delle violazioni. L\u2019Ufficio dei Diritti Umani svolge questo compito in stretta collaborazione con gli attori locali. L\u2019obiettivo \u00e8 quello di condividere le buone prassi realizzate nel mondo dove operano le FMA, al fine di sostenere i governi nell\u2019adempimento dei loro obblighi internazionali in materia di diritti umani.<\/p>\n<p>Gli strumenti utilizzati per svolgere l\u2019attivit\u00e0 di advocacy sono molteplici. In particolare, IIMA e VIDES partecipano alle sessioni del Consiglio dei Diritti Umani, presentando dichiarazioni orali (Oral Statements) e redigendo rapporti scritti per la Revisione Periodica Universale (UPR) di vari paesi dove operano le Suore Salesiane. Tali informazioni vengono presentate all\u2019Alto Commissariato per i Diritti Umani delle Nazioni Unite, che le rende accessibili a tutti i rappresentati degli Stati e ad altri attori coinvolti nella Revisione Periodica Universale. Inoltre, l\u2019Ufficio dei Diritti Umani organizza diversi <em>side event<\/em> per condividere le buone prassi realizzate a livello locale e per garantire il diritto all\u2019educazione e l\u2019empowerment di bambini, giovani e donne, garantendo la loro partecipazione attiva nella societ\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p>Inoltre c\u2019\u00e8 la collaborazione con i Governi, gli Esperti delle Nazioni Unite e altri attori della societ\u00e0 civile, con l\u2019obiettivo di impegnarsi in un dialogo costruttivo per affrontare efficacemente le violazioni dei diritti umani.<\/p>\n<p>Nell\u2019ambito delle attivit\u00e0 di <strong>formazione e capacity building<\/strong>, si organizzano corsi, incontri, seminari interattivi, workshops, a Ginevra e sul campo, per formare le persone che operano a livello locale, perch\u00e9 continuino il loro lavoro di protezione e di promozione dei diritti umani con maggior consapevolezza dei meccanismi e delle procedure internazionali delle Nazioni Unite volti alla difesa di questi stessi diritti. La formazione mira a educare gli attori locali alla cittadinanza attiva e alla cura della casa comune dalla prospettiva dei diritti umani.<\/p>\n<p>Nell\u2019ambito della <strong>comunicazione, <\/strong>in particolare attraverso il sito web e i social network, l\u2019Ufficio svolge un\u2019intensa attivit\u00e0 di condivisione e di aggiornamento sulle principali sfide incontrate ogni giorno per la piena realizzazione dei diritti umani e sui progressi compiuti grazie all\u2019azione delle Nazioni Unite. Importante \u00e8 anche l\u2019invio di informazioni <em>ad hoc<\/em> alle Ispettorie interessate.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;Ufficio dei Diritti Umani mira ad\u00a0 assicurare a tutti i bambini e ai giovani un futuro per essere cittadini liberi del mondo.
