Calcutta (India).<\/strong> Mary Help of Christians<\/em> Province (INC) of Calcutta is engaged in several initiatives to raise awareness and action in favor of our Common Home.<\/p>\n

One of the projects carried out by the Province is the Seed Project<\/strong>, implemented as part of the Platform of initiatives <\/a><\/strong><\/span>of the Laudato Si’ Movement, under the constant guidance and support of Sister Minimol Chettayil, passionate coordinator of the “green audit” of the Province.<\/p>\n

Sister Minimol has drawn up an annual action plan on the themes of the encyclical Laudato Si’ and month by month she has followed closely the 25 communities of the Province in the implementation of this plan. At the end of the year, she published the ecological magazine, “Green Footprints”<\/strong>. The magazine was presented on 21 June 2025, by the INC Provincial, Sister Leelamma Palliparambil, at Holy Child Auxilium in Vasant Vihar, in the presence of the Animators and the FMAs of the Delhi area.<\/p>\n

In June 2025, Sister Minimol Chettayil also received the Certificate of Recognition from the LS Movement as Laudato Si’ Animator<\/strong> and for creating Laudato Si’ in the INC Province Communities.<\/p>\n

The <\/strong>Laudato Si’ Movement<\/a><\/span> (LSM) <\/strong>is a global network of over 900 Catholic organizations with more than 20,000 trained grassroots leaders, recognized as Laudato Si’ Animators<\/strong>. Inspired by Pope Francis’ encyclical, the Movement aims to inspire and mobilize the Catholic community to take care of our common home and achieve climate and ecological justice.<\/p>\n

With the deliberation of Chapter XXIV, the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians is committed to a concrete and continuous path of conversion to integral ecology<\/strong>, taking on board the seven objectives of Laudato si’, in the spirit of the Preventive System. <\/em>All the initiatives and projects carried out with the Educating Communities are part of the concrete commitment to teach the young generations a contemplative attitude, in order to take care of our common Home.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
