{"id":137629,"date":"2025-06-28T10:56:08","date_gmt":"2025-06-28T08:56:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/infosphere\/seminario-regionale-acssa-asia-sud-a-bangalore\/"},"modified":"2025-06-28T22:23:21","modified_gmt":"2025-06-28T20:23:21","slug":"acssa-south-asia-regional-seminar-at-bangalore","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/en\/ifma-en\/acssa-south-asia-regional-seminar-at-bangalore\/","title":{"rendered":"ACSSA South Asia Regional Seminar at Bangalore"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Bangalore (India).<\/strong> From 27 to 29 June 2025 in Bangalore, at the headquarters of Sacred Heart Province (INK) of the Salesians of Don Bosco, the South Asia section of the Association of Curators of Salesian History (ACSSA) hosts a Regional Seminar in preparation for the International Convention for the 150<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the first Missionary Expeditions of the Salesians (2025) and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (2027).<\/p>\n<p>At the International Conference, which will take place in Brazil in 2027, on the theme, &#8220;The Salesian Missions in the world&#8221;, the way is opened by the regional and continental seminars that have been held or will be held in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The Bangalore Seminar comes after the first regional event held <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/en\/ifma-en\/third-acssa-regional-seminar-africa-madagascar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in March in Zambia<\/a><\/strong><\/span> for the African continent, and the second meeting held <strong>at the beginning of<\/strong><strong> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/en\/ifma-en\/150th-fma-missions\/the-salesian-missions-in-america-seminar-acssa-america\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">June in Argentina<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, for the Americas.<\/p>\n<p>More than 40 are the Salesian history enthusiasts of South Asia who participate in presence, with further involvement through participation by remote via Google Meet, to know and deepen over 20 research documents and communications on, <strong>&#8220;Efforts of evangelization carried out by the Salesians of Don Bosco and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians&#8221;<\/strong> throughout the Region.<\/p>\n<p>The event was inaugurated by SDB and FMA &#8220;home&#8221; Provincials &#8211; Fr. Sebastian Kuricheal and Sister Lucy Rose Ozhukayil, Provincials of <em>Sacred Heart of Jesus<\/em> Province (INK) &#8211; and, testifying to the importance of the appointment, also present are the FMA Superiors of the Provinces\u00a0 of <em>Saint Thomas Apostle<\/em> (INM) of Chennai, Sister Margaret Devadoss, and <em>Saint Mary Mazzarello<\/em> (INB) of Mumbai, Sister Meenakshi D&#8217;Silva.<\/p>\n<p>The Seminar will offer a fundamental platform to explore, document, and reflect on the historical, spiritual, and cultural contributions of the Salesian missions in the South Asia Region, linking them to the wider global mission of the Salesian Family.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/meet.google.com\/ime-kezd-obe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Link at Google Meet<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/iss-acssa.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Website ACSSA<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bangalore (India).
