Paths to learn the future&#8221;. They will talk about techno-sciences, humanism, and pedagogy in the Digital Age.<\/p>\n<p>We are able to build machines that can make independent decisions and co-exist with man. The progressive &#8220;biologization of machines&#8221; and &#8220;mechanization of living beings&#8221; disrupts anthropological categories that we believed to be indisputable. With respect to these changes, we risk feeling inadequate and unprepared to respond to the difficult questions that these changes pose. The &#8220;principle of humanity&#8221; and its legitimacy are at stake. Will we survive?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paolo Benanti<\/strong>, from the Gregorian University of Rome, and <strong>Franca Pinto Minerva<\/strong>, of the University of Foggia, will try to outline the new scenarios that arouse numerous questions, especially for those <strong>engaged in the education of the new generations.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Their interventions open the 2018-2019 Interdisciplinary Course organized by the Faculty of Education Sciences \u00abAuxilium\u00bb of Rome.<\/p>\n<p>Three meetings to reflect on <strong>&#8220;Learning in the time of the Net. Paths to \u2018learn\u2019 the future&#8221;<\/strong> especially for teachers of religion, pedagogues and socio-educative educators, psychologists of education, teachers of all levels, youth workers, priests and religious, parents, educators, and whoever cares about the education of young people.<\/p>\n<p>The ultimate goal is not only to know the potential and risks of technology, but to \u2018try to do\u2019, discovering the transformations that cultural and bio-technological evolution is producing in the processes of education, formation, learning, knowledge building, and providing young people and adults with the keys to a <strong>digital civic education<\/strong> that enables them to live as <strong>active citizens<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The other two meetings of the Course will be held <strong>Saturday, November 17, 2018<\/strong> with the intervention of Pier Cesare Rivoltella on \u2018<em>The future enters the classroom: &#8220;disassemble&#8221; and &#8220;mount&#8221; meanings\u2019<\/em> and <strong>Saturday, December 1, 2018<\/strong> with the reports of Michele Marangio and Pier Cesare Revoltella on <em>Citizenship and digital civics<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Further information is available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pfse-auxilium.org\/en\/\"><strong>website<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0of the Pontifical Faculty of Educational Sciences &#8220;Auxilium&#8221;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rome (Italy).
