Rome (Italy).On 30 May 2024 at 2.30 pm (Italian time)<\/strong>, at the end of the month dedicated to Mary, the Communication Sector of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians proposes the 2nd<\/sup> edition of the Marian Festival The World Sings to Mary<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, with songs from different Countries of all the continents.<\/p>\n

In a Letter to all those who sent their contribution, the General Councilor for Communication, Sister Ausilia De Siena, thanks for the participation, for the talent expressed, and above all, for “your love for Our Lady that has prompted you to compose for her unpublished songs, all very beautiful. It is moving to note that Mary ‘walks’ in our homes, in our territories, in Countries all over the world!”<\/em><\/p>\n

The songs were judged by a jury. The ranked top nine<\/strong> will form the lineup for the May 30 streaming, in which the ranking will be “revealed”.<\/p>\n

Original and appreciated also are the promo videos of the songs<\/strong>, sent by the authors to the provincial Coordinators of Communication to present them, from 10 May 2025, on the Facebook profile of each province with the tag on the Facebook page of the Institute @Figlie di Maria Ausiliatrice – Salesiane di Don Bosco<\/span> and the hashtag #ilmondocantaaMaria2025<\/span>.<\/p>\n

On 25 May 2025, at 8:00 pm in Rome, some promo videos have exceeded 1,000 likes.<\/strong> As per the Rules, the corresponding song with the highest number of likes will participate in the festival, regardless of the jury vote. If this song is already in the top nine, it will also be considered the second ranked for the high number of likes.<\/p>\n

“The songs in competition are all really beautiful and many can also be performed in liturgical moments. That\u2019s why even those out of the ranking will be presented not entirely, but as a ‘sample’ <\/em>– explains Sister Ausilia. – In every contest there is always a ranking of winners, But in this case, the real victory is the love that we show from all over the world for the Mother who is the support and guide of our hearts, that has all the characteristics well highlighted with words and music<\/strong>.”<\/em><\/p>\n

All the videos of the songs in competition, even those received late, will be available in the playlist “Il mondo canta a Maria 2” on the<\/strong> You Tube Channel CGFMANET<\/a><\/span><\/strong>. Texts, sheet music and chords, audio files will be available in the Drive accessible from the website of the Institute.<\/p>\n

The program of the Festival includes<\/strong>: a brief introductory greeting from Mother; the presentation of the nine classified songs; the presentation of the song prize \u2018like\u2019; a collage of the other songs.<\/p>\n
