{"id":132998,"date":"2025-04-24T07:30:55","date_gmt":"2025-04-24T05:30:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/infosphere\/corteno-paese-natio-di-suor-maria-troncatti\/"},"modified":"2025-04-26T00:56:35","modified_gmt":"2025-04-25T22:56:35","slug":"corteno-native-town-of-maria-troncatti","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/en\/ifma-en\/corteno-native-town-of-maria-troncatti\/","title":{"rendered":"Corteno, native town of Maria Troncatti"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Rome (Italy).<\/strong> The Commission for liturgical spiritual history, set up in view of the Canonization of Sister Maria Troncatti (1883-1969), has elaborated an itinerary to get to know better the figure of the Blessed, her message and her actuality &#8211; starting from the slogan, <strong>&#8220;Mother, missionary, artisan of peace and reconciliation&#8221;<\/strong> &#8211; with a video and a note for further reflection proposed on the 25<em><sup>th<\/sup><\/em> of each month, in memory of her birth into heaven.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In the third video, we deepen the origins of the Blessed<\/strong> through some testimonies from her native land, <strong>Corteno Golgi<\/strong>, a small village of two thousand inhabitants in Val Camonica in the province of Brescia in Lombardy, where Sister Maria Benvenuta Troncatti &#8211; this is her baptismal name &#8211; was born on 16 February 1883.<\/p>\n<div class=\"youtube-embed\" data-video_id=\"obmudufK4yg\"><iframe title=\"Corteno, paese natio di Suor Maria Troncatti.
