{"id":132749,"date":"2025-04-19T11:32:39","date_gmt":"2025-04-19T09:32:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/?p=132749"},"modified":"2025-04-19T11:52:19","modified_gmt":"2025-04-19T09:52:19","slug":"the-surprise-of-love","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/en\/ifma-en\/the-surprise-of-love\/","title":{"rendered":"The surprise of love"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Rome (Italy).<\/strong> The Mother General of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, Sister Chiara Cazzuola, sends her Easter greeting message to the FMA, the Educating Communities and the Salesian Family:<\/p>\n<p><em>The power of the Resurrection penetrates our lives like a ray of light, like a dazzling intuition that allows us to understand what still seems meaningless.\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>In these days, we revisit the first steps of the journey of a Church that pulsates with love for Jesus, the Christ, the Son of God; of a Church made up of apostles and disciples who have lived an extraordinary daily life with Him. A heart slow to understand did not prevent them from wavering in faith, falling into fear, doubting the Master\u2019s word before the historical event, tangible and at the same time, transcendent of the Passover of Jesus. Precisely this Church has within it the very life of Christ, the living One: source and cause of our Hope stronger than our weaknesses; source of our joy of salvation. <\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"youtube-embed\" data-video_id=\"_Jheb1E0fKM\"><iframe title=\"Pasqua 2025. Messaggio di Madre Chiara Cazzuola.\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_Jheb1E0fKM?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" data-load-mode=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><em>The empty tomb refers us to the presence of Christ in the world, helps us hope that the life of grace triumphs over death, beyond whatever limiting we experience in daily history.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>In the heart of our faith, in the unfolding of the Paschal Mystery, there is not only the astonishment, fear, dismay, and incredulous wonder of the apostles! There is also the courageous presence of women.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The Gospel, in fact, puts us in contact with the group of women, names them personally, makes them stand out, because they have resisted with courage and love next to Jesus, even, and above all, during His passion; faithful and fearless witnesses of His death and Resurrection. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>According to the Gospel of Luke, Jesus does not appear to women who close their hearts to spices for Him and do not get stuck in front of the pitfalls of a morning that at first dawn is still dark, deserted. They do not get blocked in front of the stone that is removed and could instill a natural hesitation, a suspicion of danger. They do not stand outside the tomb, but enter it only with the ardent desire to honor the body of the Teacher. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>But they do not find Him there and faced with two &#8220;men&#8221; in dazzling dress, they react with reverential fear before the divine that they are perceiving. Taken by fright, they held their faces bent to the ground. In the Bible, the face represents the whole person and, if it is bent to the ground, it indicates submission, veneration, therefore also an attitude of prayer.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>This reverential fear recalls that of the Virgin Mary at the announcement of the incarnation of the Word.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Here, next to the tomb, are the women who receive from the two messengers, witnesses, the great announcement that nothing is impossible to God. They know how to believe the word of the angels and are full of joy, the joy of life that explodes, the joy of faith; there blossoms the great hope that from this hour has a name: Jesus.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>They are the women of Easter morning who with their faith bring the joyful announcement that will resound in the over the centuries: Jesus is risen! Christos anesti! Their festive voice invites us to listen to the question &#8211; rebuke: why do you seek among the dead, the One who is alive?<\/em><em> (\u2026)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>As consecrated women who keep the Word in their hearts, who believe in Jesus, Lord and Redeemer of history and of all humanity, we feel the responsibility and irrepressible urgency to give voice and witness to the great truth: Jesus is alive! <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Our faith is not vain! Life has conquered death! Love is possible; Peace is possible; Joy is possible.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>The world needs this proclamation, this surprise of Love<\/em><\/strong><em>. Christ is risen, everything revives, everything blossoms. The world needs this very powerful and unassailable antidote against the culture of death, disinterest, indifference, greedy avidity, unfair power, waste.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We ask ourselves how we can respond to the command of the Risen One: &#8220;Go and proclaim&#8221;? Certainly, not following the first reaction of Peter who, after seeing the empty tomb, only finds the way of home, of defense, of protection from fear, from uncertainty.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We have the example in Jesus who gives Himself totally. We have Don Bosco who challenges temerity. We are heirs to the secret of Mother Mazzarello, her being Christified in her living, in her giving her life for the Institute. She is credible when she points out the source of courage and resilience in the mission of the proclamation. Take courage, <strong>Jesus must be your whole strength<\/strong>, with Jesus burdens become light, fatigue becomes easy, the thorns are turned into sweetness&#8230; (L.22)&#8230; Enter often into the heart of Jesus. (L.17) You are credible when you invite us to always express\u00a0 Easter joy. &#8220;Be cheerful&#8221; is her alleluia; it is the style of hope, the strength of the mission, of the &#8220;pilgrims of hope&#8221; which the Jubilee proposes as an effective input for the new evangelization of the inhabitants of this earth. It is the liberating gift of the Risen Jesus for all, especially for those who suffer.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>My wish is that we, the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, the educating communities, the children, the girls and boys, and the young people, may know how to listen and welcome the words of the Teacher, keep them in their heart and remember them in order to recognize and fall more and more in love with Jesus in the Eucharist, the Risen One, the Living One who remains with us forever. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>From the Eucharist our Saints have drawn strength, light, and the prophecy of the mission.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>From the dead and risen Jesus, our sisters who live in difficult and hostile areas, find the courage to stay with the suffering populations, with the poorest, to help them by challenging heavy risks for their own lives.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>With the strength of the Risen One, the Living One, together we bring to the new and old poverties that we encounter daily in all parts of the world, the Hope announced by the two &#8220;men&#8221; clothed with light: &#8220;Do not seek among the dead, He who is alive!&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I address this wish in a special way to the communities most affected by suffering and difficult and precarious situations. <\/em><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><em>Happy Easter of Jesus and ours! <\/em><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><em>May Mary, the Mother today radiant with joy, bless us all.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Rome, 20 April 2025<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Sister Chiara Cazzuola<\/em><br \/>\nGeneral Superior of the FMA Institute<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/drive\/u\/0\/folders\/1Shd_iUeArXMkQ1OPou_5I-_mflumA6TU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>PDF Text<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rome (Italy).
