Rome (Italy). <\/strong>“It is time to revive the fire!” (Mother Mazzarello, L 27) is the theme that accompanies the Triennium of preparation for the 150th anniversary of the first missionary expedition of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (14 November 1877), which began on 14 November 2024, with a celebratory event broadcast live from the Generalate in Rome.<\/p>\n

CELEBRATORY EVENT<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The celebratory event<\/a><\/span>, broadcast in live streaming<\/strong>, was announced by the Superior General of the FMA Institute, Mother Chiara Cazzuola, in Circular no. 1038<\/a><\/strong><\/span>:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Every celebration, every important anniversary, is a reminder to return to the roots of our history, to the sources of our spirituality. We recall with joy and gratitude, the words of Pope Francis at the Chapter Assembly on 22 October 2021: “Do not forget the grace of the origins, the humility and the smallness of the beginnings that made transparent the action of God in the life and in the message of those who, filled with wonder, began this journey.”<\/em><\/p>\n

During the event, Mother officially opened the Triennium<\/strong> of preparation for the 150th<\/sup> of the 1st<\/sup> FMA missionary departure<\/em>. (Mother’s Message<\/strong><\/a><\/span>)<\/p>\n
