{"id":130573,"date":"2025-03-18T09:05:35","date_gmt":"2025-03-18T08:05:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/infosphere\/117-anniversario-associazione-exallieve-i-fma\/"},"modified":"2025-03-22T22:18:59","modified_gmt":"2025-03-22T21:18:59","slug":"117th-anniversary-of-the-fma-past-pupils-association","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cgfmanet.org\/en\/ifma-en\/117th-anniversary-of-the-fma-past-pupils-association\/","title":{"rendered":"117th Anniversary of the FMA Past Pupils Association"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Rome (Italy).<\/strong> On 19 March 2025, on the Solemnity of Saint Joseph, the World Association of the Past Pupils of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians celebrates the 117<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of its foundation.<\/p>\n<p>It is a memorable day in the life of the World Confederation Mornese Past Pupils of the FMA, since on this date, the Association saw its beginning 117 years ago.<\/p>\n<p>It is the day on which the Past Pupils, together with the Sisters, remember with gratitude Blessed Filippo Rinaldi, third successor of Don Bosco and founder of the Association, and Sister Caterina Arrighi, FMA, who collaborated with him in this historic event, which took place in Turin on 19 March 1908.<\/p>\n<p>On the occasion of the 117<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary, the President of the Confederation, Ms. Maria Carmen Castillon, together with the World Delegate, Sister M. S. Sangitha Rani, sent a letter to all the Presidents and Delegates of each Federation, wishing them to make grateful memory of this anniversary and urging them to continue living the spirit of Don Bosco and Mother Mazzarello in their families and workplaces:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;We have received a charism that makes us unique, a seal of belonging those marks us forever as children of God and members of this wonderful family: the Past Pupils of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians! Let us never forget and never move away from this identity! We encourage you to remind each member of the true meaning of belonging to this movement. It is more than just a name; it is a mission, a call, a legacy that we must continue to live with passion and commitment. Don Bosco envisioned us as an integral part of his mission. He wanted the former students to be close to his daughters (FMA), to work alongside them, and to carry forward the values they have learned.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>On this precious day, the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians wish all former students a happy commemoration. You are a very important Salesian lay presence always and everywhere, but especially in situations that implore peace, salvation, education, solidarity.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for the yeast, salt, and light that you already are. In this Jubilee year, we are called to be signs of hope, builders of peace and bridges of relationship, promoters of life, comforters of the sick and suffering, role models for young people, expressions of dignity and respect, support for the elderly and abandoned.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rome (Italy).
