It was a family celebration!<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;<strong>Anna 4 children Home<\/strong>&#8221; Community is a home for children at risk (Marialaya) in Salem and was inaugurated on June 8, 2018 with a Eucharist presided over by Mgr. Singaroyan DD, Bishop of Salem.<\/p>\n<p>The family home welcomes 27 girls and the sisters are engaged in the promotion of women, in pastoral care in the families and in the parish.<\/p>\n<p>The founder of this house is Mr. Pierluigi, an Italian who wanted to help abandoned girls in memory of his daughter Anna who went missing at the age of 2 years. He entrusted this mission to the Salesians who ran it for a year. Because of the girls, our presence was asked for. Currently there are three sisters in this community: the animator and two sisters who take care of the girls and work in the parish.<\/p>\n<p>During his homily, the bishop said that consecrated persons must bear witness to the love and mercy of Jesus for the many poor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saint Joseph Community<\/strong> in Mosavadi was inaugurated on June 12, 2018 with the Eucharist presided over by Mgr. Soundarararaju SDB DD, Bishop of Vellore. During the homily, the Bishop expressed joy in entrusting the Salesian sisters with the work and recommended that they live with and for the poor of that periphery, keeping them at the center of the works and activities.<\/p>\n<p>The community, an animator and two sisters, will take care of the Middle School, evening school, Oratory, promotion of women, pastoral care in the families and in the Parish.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Madras (India).
