Cochabamba (Bolivia). <\/strong>On 29 and 30 June 2024, in Cochabamba, more than 40 Daughters of Mary Help of Christians of Our Lady of Peace<\/em> Province (BOL), coming from the different works of Bolivia, participated in the transmission of the meeting ESA V <\/a><\/span><\/strong>of the Salesian School in America held in Guadalajara, Mexico, from May 1 to May 5.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, characterized by a family atmosphere, the Provincial Sister Lucila Guerra Mendoza, together with the Sisters who collaborated with her in the team:\u00a0 Sister Victoria Paz Escobar, Sister Gretel \u00c1lvarez, Sister Beatriz Loayza Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez, and two teachers who participated in ESA V, Mery Blanca Callisaya and Mar\u00eda Elena Carranza, addressed the different topics discussed in Mexico.<\/p>\n

Sister Ivone Goulart Lopes, collaborator of the Institute\u2019s Youth Ministry Sector and contact person for the Salesian School of America, made herself present at the event with a message.<\/p>\n

The Salesian School of America (ESA) proposes four dimensions on which to work in the Salesian works: preventive leadership and Salesian identity, pedagogical and evangelizing management, educative and environmental pastoral, management of results and significance.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the involvement of the Sisters, the transmission of the experience was dynamic, interactive, profound, and participatory. In the various moments, the emotion of being able to work together to renew the educative mission among the young people was perceived. In continuing the reflection, space was also given to dialogue, to the sharing of ideas, hopes, and concerns among the participants.<\/p>\n

At the end of the meeting, the evaluation took place in which the group was encouraged to follow the processes that will start to achieve new objectives. It was also possible to summarize each of the dimensions in strengths, to collaborate in carrying out the educative processes resulting from the reflection.<\/p>\n

This transmission, which will be repeated for a second group the following weekend, highlighted the richness received in Guadalajara, combined with the desire to carry out joint work between SDB, FMA, lay people of the Educating Communities, and with all those who cooperate in Salesian education in America.<\/p>\n\r\n
