Rome (Italy). The Depository of the General Archive of the FMA Institute, of the Graphic Design Office, and of the annexed environments in the new area entitled “Mother Rosetta Marchese” was inaugurated.

“An inauguration is always a sign of newness and of hope.  It is also an expression of total trust in the future”. These are the words of Mother Yvonne Reungoat on October 29, 2019 at the inauguration of the new Depository of the General Archive of the FMA Institute, of the Graphic Design Office, and of the annexed environments in the new area entitled “Mother Rosetta Marchese”, chosen as the patron for the recent opening of her Process of Beatification.

This environment was completely re-structured and renewed with competence, professionalism, and sense of responsibility on the part of the  companies, technicians, and workers who planned and accomplished the transformation of the rooms.  Sr. Piera Cavaglià, Secretary General, described It as “a new phase on the journey” that from Mornese to Nizza Monferrato, to Turin, finally arrived in Rome and revealed itself to be an expression of love and care for the sources, “for the reconstruction of history and for the process so important to pass down to generations a memory that is the root of an identity.”

Sr. Piera Cavaglià also stressed the importance of this moment by stating: “Every historical source that will be placed here is like a footprint of life, a trail for the future.  Historical memory cannot be separated from the project that inspired it and therefore from the future to which it is projected.  In this beautiful, ample, functional space there is a mysterious but real connection between memory and prophecy.  The actual moment we are living in the today of this our time is a gift that we have received and, at the same time, it is something that we can and must give to those who will come after us, not in a static and repetitive way, but rather enriched by our creative witness, faithful to the charismatic source.”

After thanking  all those involved in this work, in particular Sister Vilma Tallone, Treasurer General, and to her Collaborators in the Administration Sector, for the constancy and passion with which she followed the work, Mother handed over the keys to the Animator of the Generalate Community, Sister Bernarda Santamaria, with an invitation to continue to be a ‘welcoming community.’
