Holiness

Holiness The educational system of Don Bosco which the Salesian Sisters continue to apply since their foundation, as, in the course of 150 years, produced almost surprising results. Heroes, heroines and saints have remained almost unknown because of the extraordinary in the ordinariness. Sanctity is not something we claim, but it is a gratuitous participation in God’s holiness and is, therefore, a gift of grace and not only fruit of our own striving that we aim at achieving through our personal efforts. Holiness is the insertion of the whole person (mind, heart, hands and feet) into the mysterious sphere of the goodness, gratuity and mercy of God’s love.
